Tea has never been so COOL with The Edge Mooloolaba hosting the first High Tea charity for the Wildlife Emergency on behalf of young wildlife enthusiast and charity entrepreneur Tegan Lather on Wednesday 9 July from 10am until 2pm.

“I am so excited to be holding my first ever High Tea charity for Wildlife Emergency. It is going to be a great day full of tasty treats and delicious tea,” said young Tegan who has raised over $78,500 for numerous wildlife charities on the Sunshine Coast including Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, Queensland Koala Crusaders, Twinnies Pelican and Seabird Rescue.

The High Tea charity theme is focused around beauty. Local beauty professionals including independent make up and skin care consultant Jen Starkey, the Halo Hairdressers, Jenni Parry from Embrace Ordinary and Liz Bars will all be attending to discuss all things BEAUTY!  The amazing Cat Edwards will also be doing Tea Leaf readings so you can see where your future is headed.

“I was more than happy to offer my restaurant to the lovely little Wildlife Warrior! Tegan has done such amazing work in the past I just knew this event would be just as great!” said owner of The Edge Mooloolaba Heather Andrews.

The money raised at the High Tea will go directly to purchasing surveillance cameras for Emu surveys on Bribie Island. Bribie Island is the last known place in South East Queensland to have emus and Tegan would hate to see this change!

Tickets are $40 each or 2 for $75!  Even cheaper if you are bringing the kids $35 for 13 – 17 year olds, $20 for 3 – 12 year olds and children under 3 are free. Adults will receive a glass of bubbly on arrival to set the mood for the day. Relaxing with a bit of fizz!

Tasty treats and delicious tea will be enjoyed by all so purchase your tickets by emailing info@wildlifeemergency.com.au to reserve your seat and arrange payment.

Tegan is now on school holidays and would love to talk to anyone helping to share her event. You can contact Tegan by calling 0407 033 315
